Privacy notice

1. What this notice covers

How NoMoreFlags handles information when you visit this site, request the free public-record check, or engage a compliance pack. It covers business contact information and the records we read or receive in the course of that work.

2. Information we collect

• —Public records. Information already published by government agencies, such as filings, registrations, dates, and the details those records contain.
• —What you send us. Your name, work email, company, website, industry, an optional regulatory identifier, an optional message, and anything you provide during intake — including documents.
• —Correspondence. Messages you exchange with us about a case, kept so the case has a history.

We do not ask for personal financial information, and we do not need consumer data to do this work.

3. How we use it

To run the free check and tell you what we found; to prepare, validate, and track work you engage us for; to keep an audit trail of what was found, approved, and submitted; and to reply to you about your request. We use business contact information to contact you about the request you made — not to build marketing lists.

4. What we do not do

• —We do not sell your information.
• —We do not publish a directory of companies with potential flags.
• —We do not run advertising trackers or third-party ad pixels on this site.
• —We do not share your documents with other customers, ever.

5. Service providers

We use a small number of vendors to operate the service — for example hosting, email, and document storage. They process information on our instructions only. The current list will be published here before launch, and we will keep it current.

6. How long we keep things

Case records, including approvals and submission receipts, are kept while your engagement is active and for a defined period afterwards so the audit trail remains usable. Request information that never becomes an engagement is kept for a shorter period, then deleted. Exact retention periods are being finalized and will be stated here.

7. Your choices

• —Correct a match. If we associated a public record with the wrong company, tell us and we will re-check the source and correct our records: corrections@nomoreflags.com.
• —Stop contact. Ask us to stop and we stop: optout@nomoreflags.com. No explanation needed.
• —Access or deletion. Ask what we hold about you and request deletion, subject to records we must keep for an active engagement.

Note that we cannot delete a record an agency publishes. Public records belong to the agency that publishes them.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to the people working your case, and access to case files is logged. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if something affecting your information goes wrong.

9. Changes to this notice

When this notice changes materially, we will date the new version and describe what changed. The draft label will be removed once the final version is reviewed and published.
